Bastogne scent communication
The scent of Bastogne is so famous, you recognize it immediately.
The scent of Bastogne is the unique selling point of the cookie and has therefore been specially developed by SmartNose in the form of a perfume. This is for communication about Bastogne cakes. The scent was then used on a scent map. Using a 'rub & smell' application, three different scents could be smelled on the scent card. One of the three was the unique Bastogne scent, but which one? Rub, smell and win a trip. This Win Promotion has been distributed as an advertisement in three magazine titles: Flair, Viva and Vriendin.

To support the campaign, in-store scent experience has also been deployed in 30 stores, around the cookie shelf.
